CASA Welcomes Abigail to New Staff Position

CASA Philadelphia is excited to announce the creation of a new position, Director of Development and Communications. Happi Grillon, Executive Director, explains, “as the need for more CASA volunteers expands, so does our need to increase visibility and fund-raising efforts. The creation of this new role gives us the opportunity to focus on expanding resources which will ultimately enable us to recruit and supervise additional volunteers.”

Filling this new position is Abigail Scardelletti, who comes to CASA from ACLAMO where she served the Montgomery County community by highlighting ACLAMO’s various programs from education to social services to advocacy.

Abigail graduated from Cabrini University with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Political Science. In addition to her work at ACLAMO Abigail has worked as a community organizer and in the development office of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.

When Abigail is not writing while listening to her favorite playlist, convincing someone that the Eagles will win the Super Bowl, or anxiously counting the days to the Phillies’ spring training, she can be found with her nose stuck in a book (or three).
