The Board of CASA Philadelphia is pleased to welcome Judy Rice, CASA Volunteer and Retired BlackRock Managing Director as its newest member.
Judy, who calls Philadelphia home, is a proud mother of four children, and Gramie to four grandchildren. Judy began her journey with CASA when she trained as a volunteer in 2020. Now working on her second case Judy has been a passionate advocate for the health, safety, stability and well-being of the children she has served.
Professionally Judy spent 20+ years at BlackRock (formerly Merrill Lynch Asset Management). As a Managing Director, she was responsible for product strategy and investment communications for the Global Allocation Fund’s global platform. Prior to this, she worked for a tech start up, Micros Systems, and earned an M.B.A. from The Lebow College of Business at Drexel University with a concentration in Finance and Marketing.
In addition to volunteering with CASA, Judy is an active member of Chicago Media Project (CMP) and has loved being part of this multifaceted philanthropic community of passionate and sociable individuals, who believe in the power of film/media to bring about awareness and social change. She is an avid skier and beach lover, and enjoys cooking, traveling, reading and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.
