When a CASA volunteer steps into a child’s life, they step into the space between what is and what should be.
They fill gaps—gaps in care, in education, in stability, and sometimes in something even more basic: the steady presence of someone who truly cares. CASA volunteers are the heart of our mission. They bring hope, voice, and advocacy to children who too often go unheard.
But even the strongest hearts need support. Behind every volunteer stands a team of CASA staff—professionals who provide guidance, training, and oversight to make sure every recommendation made is grounded in the child’s best interest. Together, they form the bridge that helps children move from uncertainty toward safety and stability.
Today, I’m reaching out to ask you to help us do for CASA what our volunteers do for children—close the gap.
Like so many nonprofits, we’re facing a perfect storm: fewer corporate and private donations, and a delayed state budget that has left funding for CASA uncertain. That’s why we’ve launched our 2025 annual campaign—Together We Can Close The Gap.
